Bible Verse For Today Monday 26 May 2025 Morning Reading
2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Message: “Transformed by His Glory”
This verse reveals one of the most beautiful realities of the Christian journey—spiritual transformation through constant communion with God. Paul compares our experience to beholding a mirror, where we see not ourselves, but the glory of the Lord. As we fix our gaze on Christ, the Holy Spirit begins to transform us into His image, little by little—from glory to glory.
The phrase “open face” signifies unveiled access to God’s presence, made possible through Christ. No longer are we separated or blinded, like Moses with the veil (v. 13–16), but now we stand freely in God’s presence, reflecting what we behold.
Transformation doesn’t come through effort alone—it happens as we behold Him. The more we look at Jesus in worship, the Word, and prayer, the more we become like Him. His glory reshapes our character, mindset, and actions.
This is a continual process. You may not be where you want to be yet, but as long as you’re beholding Him, you are being changed.

Glorious Father, Thank You for granting me access to behold Your beauty and majesty. I come before You with an unveiled face, desiring to see more of You and to reflect Your nature. Holy Spirit, continue to transform me from glory to glory. Let every area of my life reflect Christ. Remove everything that dims the reflection of Your image in me. I yield myself to Your shaping hands—make me more like Jesus each day. In His powerful name I pray, Amen.
